You can divide the Hippo organization into three departments:
 

• Software Development: here you will find staff that is involved with the development and realization of Hippo CMS and Hippo Portal. Most of Hippo's software developers are committers or member in the Apache community and active in conventions, defining open standards, seminars and other events.More on these people you will find on the Technology Expertise Team page;
• Professional services and support: this department focuses on supporting the Hippo Implementation Partners and customers with the Hippo CMS and Hippo Portal within these organizations. These people are consulting clients or partners and are also active in the Hippo CMS community answering questions;
• Sales and internal support: the people in this department take care of all sales activities and internal support of the day to day activities.
